Who we are
Printable Case Files (“we”, “us”) sells downloadable murder-mystery case files. This policy explains what we do with your personal data and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). If you have any questions, email info@whealbit.co.uk.
What we collect
- Order details: the items you buy, your order number and purchase history.
- Contact details: your email address, and any name or billing details you provide, so we can deliver your download and support you.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, collected through our store platform and analytics.
How we use it
- To take payment and deliver your digital downloads.
- To send order confirmations, download links and service messages.
- To provide customer support and handle any problems or refunds.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running the shop securely, and our legal obligations. We only send marketing if you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the shop, your basket and checkout to work, and analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as we need to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements (usually six years). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@whealbit.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
